Contract Teaching Positions

On occasion, we have openings for experienced Spanish language instructors who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of Spanish language, Latin-America and Latino culture. Qualified candidates have complete Spanish fluency, are highly independent, create a dynamic classroom environment, and have a minimum of 2 years experience teaching Spanish to beginner to intermediate-level adults in a classroom environment of a language institute. Teachers draw on their prior experience to prepare appropriate material and homework, while relying on the Resource Center’s methodology, custom curriculum and class structure.

This is a part-time, independent contractor position. Teachers are compensated per 2-hour class. Classes are generally 10 weeks in duration, meeting for 2 hours/week. Class types include grammar, conversation, and speaking labs (which supplement core grammar classes). Classes meet evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 pm and Saturdays between 9 am - 2 pm. Class locations include our main office near Lake Street and Minnehaha Avenue in Minneapolis and Wilder Center near University Avenue and Lexington Parkway in St. Paul.
