Volunteer and Intern | Voluntarios

Thank you for your interest in volunteering or interning with our organization.

UPDATE 4/20/2012: We regret to inform you that La Conexión de las Américas will be closing soon due to financial struggles. We cannot welcome new volunteers or interns at this time. However, we are exploring possibilities for our programs to continue within another organization, so that this important work will live on even though our organization will not. We have not yet set a final date for the programs. Please check back to this page for updates about where and when our programs might continue, which we will post here as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

“If we remember those times and places–and there are so many–where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction. And if we do act, in however small a way, we don’t have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory.”
