Unidad Académica Campesina-Carmen Pampa (UAC-CP)

The Unidad Académica Campesina-Carmen Pampa (UAC-CP) is a college in rural Bolivia that provides access to higher education for poor, indigenous men and women, and services to rural families. The UAC-CP, internationally recognized for its unique approach and ability to address and dissipate root causes of poverty, is partially funded by Carmen Pampa Fund (CPF). CPF is a non-profit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota that generates financial and human resources to assist the growth and development of the UAC-CP.

The UAC-CP currently has vacancies for teaching positions in the College’s English Program for the 2011 academic year (the first semester begins in February). Teachers, who receive free housing and a stipend, help implement a comprehensive, standardized English curriculum using the American English File series from Oxford University Press.
