México, anfitrión para armar el Plan Pentágono contra migrantes centroamericanos

Del 14 al 16 de junio las secretarías de Defensa y Marina de México y su co-anfitriones militares del norte lanzarán el nuevo Plan Pentágono para Centroamérica, con la participación de presidentes y otros representantes de los siete países centroamericanos y cinco países observadores. El vicepresidente Mike Pence inaugurará el evento “Conferencia sobre prosperidad y seguridad en Centroamérica” que es un nuevo giro para la Alianza para la Prosperidad.

Mexico Hosts SouthCom Conference to Launch Plan Pentagon Against Central American Migrants

Mexico’s Secretaries of Government and Foreign Relations and Defense and Marine Secretariats will stand beside their U.S. co-hosts June 15 and 16 to launch the new Plan Pentagon for Central America. They won’t call it that, of course. Vice President Mike Pence will open the event “Conference on Prosperity and Security in Central America”, before the presidents, the generals and representatives from observer countries.

Refugees: Caught Between Violence and Persecution

This viacrucis, or Stations of the Cross, was made up of about 300 migrants, including women and children, who traveled through Mexico, ending up in Mexico City. According to one of its communiqués, its fundamental purpose is “to escape the southern border, which has condemned many people without papers to precarious work, discrimination and the absence of state protection.”

El 9 de abril dio inicio en Tecún Umán, Guatemala, el Viacrucis de Refugiados 2017 convocado por la organización “Pueblo sin Fronteras” que dirige el activista Irineo Mujica. Este viacrucis lo componen un grupo de alrededor de 300 migrantes entre los que viajan mujeres y niños que transitaron por la ruta migratoria mexicana para concluir en la Ciudad de México.
